Are there any risks associated with whole-body cryotherapy?

There are some restrictions for whole-body cryotherapy. In any other case it is safe and has much more positive benefits than, for example, an ice bath. It helps to reduce pain and boost your immune system, lose weight and prevent wrinkles and many other benefits that you can read about here.

But cryotherapy is not recommended for pregnant, people suffering from blood or heart conditions, cancer patients, people with kidney or urinary infections, those who have open wounds or ulcers, and some other conditions. In that case a cryo session can potentially have adverse effects, that is why it is recommended to tell your operator any doubts. The full list of main contraindications you can find here.
